Legendary Adriatic DJ and producer Verdo doesn’t release often, but when he does you need to listen. He always has one foot on the dancefloor, while the other makes a leap into outer space.
‘Symmetry’ kicks off in strident fashion, with throwback piano chords lighting up the airwaves as stomping drums make you move. It’s the sound of an all out celebration of the sort we have all been missing recently. ‘Babbions’ strikes a more tender note, with warm chords rising up through the cosmic arps and long legged drums. It’s a twinkling track that glows bright and lifts your spirits no end.
‘Procida’ layers up more retro-future chords with bubbling melodies and star-gazing pads that will soundtrack sunsets by the sea in perfect fashion. “Second Trip’ is a thoughtful track that sinks you
into warm grooves, with shimmering keys that bring the romance. This one also comes as a bonus beatless version for lush ambient escapism and sentimental moments.
Verdo’s back, and back in style.
