If you’re not off to Amsterdam for ADE, Reptile Dysfunction has you covered. Doorly’s label has put together a bumper selection of fresh floor-filling workouts that are set to do the business at this year’s edition of Europe’s leading weeklong celebration of dance music culture. Across the ten-track compilation you’ll encounter highlights including the funk-fuelled, extra-percussive pressure of Trooko and Tan Dem’s “Bonkeye”, the ragged, all-action late night dirtiness of Lubelski’s “Doepamine”, the rushing disco-house funkiness of “Sun Cream” by Vaudafunk and the tactile Afro-house/nu-disco fusion of Hubbard’s “Kenya”. Rowland’s suitably psychedelic “Cultivate”, which sounds like it could have been plucked from one of Orbital’s early albums, is also ace.

Through a mix of my relentless lapping of the globe on tour and my wonderful Orbit DJ Academy i seem to have this bottomless fountain of incredible young talent constantly sending me this great music! Some are more established and some absolutely brand new, but these Samplers are a great way to introduce some of these names to the world through RD and give them a platform to shine whilst we help them work on their Full EP’S to follow soon.
