Mind Flayers is a fitting title for this five-track collection of psychoactive club burners, and it kicks off with the insistent bass and snaking percussion of Sicilian producer Riccardo Rizza, who has previously been spotted on Colourful Recordings and Volupso.
Alessio Viggiano follows up his impressive turns on Yoruba Grooves and Perception Dub with Sonambulo, a meditative trip through subtle pads and a crisp, shuffling beat.
Radu Mirica lets the elements of RENdezvous unfurl slowly and carefully, creating the perfect transcendental trip in line with his appearances on labels such as STAMP and Unutrei.
Draguteskus Fantome is unsurprisingly a haunting affair. The Bucharest-based producer has been busy in the past year with releases on Tupiar, Parama and Modeight, and this refined and creepy workout sees him refining his highly developed sound even further.
