With the imminent release of Night Surfing/Future Primitives Berlins Booka Shade continue to refine their trademark tech-house sound. Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier present their 2018 take on dance music, which theyve loved since their first club experiences way back when. The feeling of 90’s euphoria is ingrained in the DNA of their music. On ‘Night Surfing the heavy use of analogue synthesizers playing Arpeggio melodies nods to Jean-Michel Jarre and the Balearic club sound. The band go on the road in the Spring with a two week Australian tour, followed by shows in Barcelona, Sonar Istanbul and the legendary O2 Academy Brixton in London.
