Italian producer Thomas A.S. has been a long time friend of the people at Metroline Limited and we are very happy to finally announce this collaboration between our label and the artist. Besides running and releasing on his own label, Crevidae Recordings, Thomas has seen his music released by a lot of influential labels in the underground minimal techno scene such as Act Natural, Indepth, Verbreiten, Baile Musik and many more. So the question is now: what do those girls on Sunday that Thomas is referring to in this EP do? Well if they were in a club and they were listening to Thomas’s tracks they surely be dancing to some very hypnotic grooves! The opening track ‘Those Girls’ is 100%% hypnotic, no question about it. It’s proper mind music that would fit perfectly at sunrise at an obscure after party in a remote warehouse. Just immerse yourself in the disorienting chunky minimal groove and lush pads! On Sunday is more playful and bouncey even if retains the dark atmosphere that is Thomas’s signature sound. Hissing hats and some cut up vocal mark the groove with the help of a huge dark bassline, efx and pads. Our man Octad goes all dub-tastic in his rework of On Sunday. Soft drum kick, metallic percussions and a clever use of the original elements of the track are all crafted together by Andrea to create a huge dark techno groover!
