Biotop proudly welcomes Indian ambassador Pawas back to the label. One year after his acclaimed Versus Vol.1 EP, he’s back with the follow-up, Versus Vol.2 – this time accompanied by two very good friends. Pawas kicks off the EP with Else, inspired by the open air club of the same name run by Berlin’s Wilde Renate crew. After a few hours dancing the day away with his favourite DJs, Pawas felt a strong wave of motivation and followed it straight into his studio – located in the Renate building just across the Elsen bridge – to write the song. For the second track, Pawas teamed up with another precious Biotop artist: Mastra. Their track together, In Your Love, is a very special tune, with every musical element played live by the duo at Mastra’s analog cave in Bern, Switzerland. The final gem, Musk, delights with its disco influences, produced by Pawas and his Indian friend Gokul Rao Kadam in Bangalore, India. Versus Vol. 2 will be released in October 2017, complete with mastering by Werner Niedermeier and a lovely cover design by Anina.
