YNFND is proud to release Periodic Perciotic the hypnotic debut album by Kundan Lal who describes himself as a “world music digger and field recorder in rogue states creating midimal mashdowns or contempoary frankenstein music. Some may also know him as east german native DJ Kundan or experienced his proofed and dedicated ears on live sound engineering. As musical polytheist Lal is a longtime fixture on local culture scene and one of the prime movers behind the cult Rostock/Berlinbased YNFND label. Lal earned his chops in the sound trade aboard the legendary MS Stubnitz a floating music and culture venue that was once an east German fishing trawler. To make this album he played with an unholy mess of sampled vibes loops & field recordings too many synths to list here and enough percussion to make the most obstinate shoulders sway.
