Chicago underground maestro Jason Patrick returns to Spades (Spades Kult techno sublabel) with 4 new originals after his remix of Mia Wallace’s Scare Tactics last year. Ostinato EP kicks off with the title track, a mysterious techno number with a hypnotic groove and haunting pads. Scorched Earth features polyrhythmic dark synth lines weaving about.
