Long time Soma friend and collaborator, Tony Scott brings his Edit Select moniker on board with the first in a series of special releases. The Bridge EP sees the Glasgow stalwart on fine form, delivering his usual brand of deep, atmospheric Techno.
A side, The Bridge, opens the EP with a stepping beat and vast, ethereal melancholy throughout. A typically fathomless production. Flux has a more mechanical edge, a twisted synth line hovers throughout the track as glass like pads drift in naturally, delivering the track’s full character. On the flip, Tonalist gives a more dubbed out feel with sweeping background textures that gradually building into a more direct affair.
One of Technos most unique producers, Edit Select strives for the otherworldly.urous crescendo.
