And there we are, proudly presenting the very first single launched via our new offshoot Formatik+ which is about to introduce new and fresh talent as well as a diverse range of electronic club music to the world and its dancefloors. The very first one added to the labels roster is Ovidi Adlert, a young producer and DJ who has left a mark in his hometown Valencia as well as touring Canada and North America within the past years.
The title track of his Acid Fussion EP sees the Spaniard cater a menu of chunky, hard hitting House grooves garnished with raw, jacking Acid-referencing modulations as well as large scale hoover signals, bringing back memories of the legendary Dominator and buzzing warehouse raves for a reason.
Being right In Time Ovidi Adlert speeds things up a little while staying close to his pretty unprocessed trademark sound, this time meandering between tool-oriented House and a darker, more techy attitude which circles around an intense, outerworldly vocal sample and fragile, sparse yet notably atmospheric strings unfolding throughout the tunes course.
