A word from James Curd: ‘At the start of 2017 I decided to focus more on my Chicago roots. I used to make songs from beginning to end on just an MPC 2000. I wanted to get back to making fun, simple tracks that work on a dark and dirty Chicago loft party dancefloor. ‘I Wanna Freak’ was so much fun and satisfying to make.
