Hot off the back of recent releases on Toolroom, DFTD and Cajual, we have a fresh new offering from The Deepshakerz. If you have been anywhere near a club in the past 18 months you will no doubt have danced your ass off to one of these guys’ chart topping bombs! We are very excited to have them back on Deeperfect for the second time this year with one of their biggest EP’s to date. On the title track, What To Want To Get, the boys come all guns blazing with party vibes ready to rock non stop. The tune is based around a feel good beat which oozes funk and grooves effortlessly with a deep pulsing sub bass. A catchy vocal hook keeps things locked in while the energy builds throughout. Deeply Session brings a more traditional tech house beat. It has a smooth, syncopated feel and incorporates The Deepshakers signature swinging drums and fat bassline foundation. A throw back male vocal hook keeps things interesting and fun while the boys use sparse effects and retro synth stabs to great effect as the track progresses. Rounding things out is Kiss The Radio. A funk-style drum break is paired with shakey percussion vibes and a series of deep synth riffs that cascade off one another to bring an edgy tension and contrast to the jacking groove. As things push on the unique vocal drops with maximum attitude and grit which brings this low-slung burner to the next level.
