Auldoran was born in early 2017 when Chris and Joel met at a local DJ event and instantly knew that they had a common goal to make electronic music with emotion and soul. Joel spent his early years listening to Jon Peel and brought up on the Rolling Stones and Beatles. He knew from that moment that he wanted to be involved in the music scene somehow. With a passion for underground electronic music he has been DJing and producing music for over 20 years. His more recent influences are the likes of legends such as Sasha, Digweed, Sven Vath and Ritchie Hawtin along with other house and techno DJs. Chris has been a DJ and producer for 25 years and early influences from the acid house scene in the 80’s and the rave revolution in the early 90’s. Chris has a passion for the uplifting and melodic side of music and is influenced by artists such as Astral Projection, Above and Beyond, BT, Ferry Corsten and a lot of house/psy/trance DJs.
Auldoran is a fusion of both these musical tastes and influences bringing a blend of something fresh and new to the scene.
