Following the successful launch of his first selection of singles ‘No Plans / Set Me Free’ and ‘Stay Awake / Another Day’, Miguel Lobo finally drops his ‘Moving Faces’ album on Circus Recordings.
Across this expansive ten-track LP, the Spanish producer and DJ ventures through the tones of underground house music. Ranging in sounds from his impeccable use of drum machines and dubbed-out sampling techniques in tracks like ‘No Catquaj’, to his slick, forward thinking tech-edged weapons like ‘Magic Pills’, guaranteed to set the dancefloor ablaze.
Throughout the record, Lobo features artists from across the scene, whether collaborating with peers like Pepe Mateos or Toni Varga, or honing in the abilities of vocalists like Elle Blink, Shyam P and Solo Tamas. From vocal-laden songs to rolling terrace party bubblers, the album is teeming with variety from the offset.
