Up next on esteemed Berlin imprint Stil Vor Talent is a double header from two emerging talents. London base Frenchman Rafael Cerato who’s appeared previously on labels like Beatfreak, Baroque and Elatics. From the tunnelling and esoteric progressive house of “Darkclaw” with its world music influence taking you deep into the exotic, or the brooding dancefloor drama of “Guru” which nails that Stil Vor Talent vibe so well. Those Ry Cooder-ish guitars that come in are a splendid touch too. Over to Manchester based Transcode next, who serves up the hypnotic and transcendental groove of “Orbital” and the brooding tension and suspense of “Skynet” which is sure to cause some strobed-out moments on the dancefloor.
