Label boss Sasha Carassi takes over remix duties for these two tracks by The Rares, and his rendition of “Mystery” is up first, with the spotlight on the melodic riffing and a driving rhythm section providing the momentum. The remix of “Dark” continues in the same vein, letting discordant synths lead the way over the most subliminal of basslines.
