No stranger to the dancefloor and festival scene, Turkish techno princess Elif brings her vision into sounds and words to present ‘Moonspell’, her first offering to A Tribe Called Kotori. Stepping it out with a solid groove is ‘Bamboo Forest’, an anthemic tribal sojourn, a collaboration with Sanoi. Power up with its raw percussive beats and swing those hips to the resonant flow of this chunky track. Showcasing the heart and soul-filled vocals of Felix Raphael, ‘Desert’ splices dreamy techno elements with punchy kicks and slick sounds to produce a mesmerizing, uplifting cut. Elif powers up with Eleonora to cast a ‘Moonspell’. Gentle, fluid bass lines are blessed with Eleonora’s divine vocals in this spaced out, etheric fragment of the cosmos. The lovechild of deep, melodic techno married with oriental mysticism, ‘Moonspell’ is something quite magical. Hear it out and bear witness to Elif’s innate musicality.
