Amsterdam based label Indigo aera is branching out with a new sub-label after establishing itself over the last six years. The label will now launch a new chapter called AEX. It will put out hand stamped, various artist EPs from a mixture of befriended artists who are considered all inner family members of the label. Like the main label, AEX is run by Jasper Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff who will also release their own tracks on it. But the main focus is creating a place where friends and more established names share their ideas about experimentation and techno music. Receiving loads of music from friends and their surroundings made them want to create a new platform. The first five EPs are all done and will be released late 2017, with an analogue and Detroit sounds often underlying them all. This third disc introduces Amsterdam local 543FF, the second contribution from Taupe who brings another very warm Detroit techno groover. Label owners Jasper Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff show their love for dub techno and the talented duo D&S strike again with a broken, melodic techno trip.
